Learn how to set up the project fully independent on Your own infrastructure.
System setup focuses on getting to know the ecosystem and infrastructure needed to run the project.
Due to it’s innovative mechanics and architecture the superfunky theme requires different setup than a classic WordPress theme. Make sure You are comfortable setting the things from the requirements, as they are required to run smoothly. Below in short words, all the needed components will be listed:
You need a backend WP instance with our open source headless previews theme and headless mods plugin and their dependencies (the plugin has a manager that will help You with installations).
1. You need the source code of the superfunky theme, purchased from us, as a fork in Your github account, synced to the actual version.
a) Then You need to set up either a local development server – for working on the frontend code (optional for developers or testing)
b) Or a CI / CD integration with Netlify or of Your choice for production projects, alongside with proper DNS records, SSL and API keys processing. (suggested for merchants)
If You decide to deploy on infrastructure of Your choice – some features may not work as expected and may need a refactor, we prepared the system using netlify for production. We recommend staying with netlify, otherwise You can do it on other platforms at Your own risk and it should be possible.
The documentation will cover all parts of setting up each particular item, so You can move with it smoothly and proceed to publishing posts, pages and selling Your products.
