Superfunky documentation

Superfunky is a headless WordPress and WooCommerce system with two technical layers:

• the Superfunky WordPress theme, which provides the content and commerce control plane;
• the open-source React storefront, which presents the customer-facing website.

The documentation is organised as a guided path from choosing a deployment model to configuring and operating a store.

Release status

These pages describe the static-first release scope reviewed on 24 August 2026.

• The verified public delivery path is the static Vite storefront. Official showcase

surfaces have passed static build and smoke checks for representative pages, canonical URLs, robots, sitemaps, feeds, and discovery files.

• Incremental route artifacts are experimental. Keep artifact delivery in shadow or

off; non-root generation is not release-ready, and the static rebuild path remains the supported fallback.

• The WordPress theme, Control Center, integrations, and companion plugins have substantial

implementation and automated-test coverage. Unless a page says otherwise, treat backend capabilities as preview features that still require staging and capability-profile runtime acceptance.

• The complete secret-free storefront is published at

coded-letter/superfunky-storefront and is automatically synchronized from the reviewed monorepo source. WordPress theme releases remain distributed through the current release channel.

• Licence-email delivery, tiered self-service billing, and unattended managed provisioning

are still being prepared. Current managed onboarding is assisted.

• Lighthouse/PageSpeed optimisation and the final security audit remain release-quality

work. Security controls documented here are configuration guidance, not a completed independent audit.

The theme remains GPL-2.0 and the storefront/UI source remains MIT. There is no separate paid frontend fork; Pro and premium companions extend backend capabilities.

Availability notes should be updated as releases and managed onboarding mature.

Product naming

Use Superfunky for the theme, storefront, Pro software, and documentation. Use Coded Letter for billing, licences, managed services, and support.
